Hi everyone! My name is Rebecca Stephan, I'm 23 years old and I'm writing my bachelor thesis at the ICP. I'm a family person, I like to enjoy the nature and go for a good swim.
In my thesis I study the interactions between the polymer network and magnetic nanoparticles in a magnetic gel. Simulating a coarse-grained, particle-based system in a Lattice-Boltzmann fluid with EEPResSO, I examine the AC susceptibility spectra for different attractive and repulsive potentials. The main goal is to add some kind of surface roughness to the magnetic raspberry by initializing coupling points on its surface and study its effect particularly for low-frequencies.
