Hello everyone,
my name is Paul and I am 21 years old. I started my bachelor thesis here at the ICP in may this year.
The topic of my thesis is the training of micro agents in fluid systems through reinforcement learning. By combining the Lattice Boltzmann solver of ESPResSo with the reinforcement learning library SwarmRL I aim to train these micro agents in fluid flow to navigate or accomplish other jobs. With the addition of Lattice Boltzmann we seek to improve accuracy of active learning environments compared to the real world for more complex applications.
Next to my thesis I am also working as a HIWI here at ICP since last year and I work on ESPResSo and visualizations.
