The goal of the Baden-Württemberg future cluster nanodiag BW (nanopore technology for the diagnostics of the future) is to transfer nanopore technology, which can be used to analyze proteins, for example, into innovative products and services for personalized medicine. The aim is to detect diseases such as cancer, diabetes, cardiovascular, mental, neurodegenerative and infectious diseases earlier and to treat them in a more targeted manner. To this end, the ICP will employ machine learning methods and molecular simulation methodologies to enable the cluster's goals.
