Hey everyone, my name is Wenlan Liu.
I got my PhD in Würzburg University under the supervision of Prof. Bernd Engels (retired) and Prof. Reinhold R. Fink (now in Tübingen University) with the topic of "Exciton coupling in valence and core excited aggregates of π-conjugated molecules" in 2011. After that, I traveled mainly between Heidelberg and Mainz, and worked in various areas of theoretical chemistry, including but not limited, excited state calculations of molecular aggregate systems, ic-MRCCSD (F12∗) theory, diabatization method for excited state, NFA and TADF property prediction etc.
Now I join our group as a postdoc on the "CCNoSe" project, focusing on the development of ML force field for peptides and nanopores under the high salt concentration environment. I will mostly work with Fabian Zills and Michel Mom as well as other colleagues.
