My name is Lena and I’ve just joined the ICP as a postdoc working with Christian.
I'll probably start here by developing a coarse-grained protein model for protein adsorption on a surface grafted with weak polyelectrolyte brushes. This is related to Keerthi’s and David’s work. I may also contribute to the development of coarse-grained models by using ML or a continuum model for CO2 catalysis.
Before I arrived here, I’ve studied physics at the University of Wuppertal (Germany) and my PhD research focused on the investigation of reinforcement of rubber networks by using mesoscale simulations.
